Brookvale FC Mens Premier League
History
A Week in the Spotlight...
Brookvale Soccer Club, was founded by Mr Joe Attanasio and Mr Vince Calacoci in 1962.
They decided to enter a soccer team into the Manly Warringah Competition. The side was named Manly-Milan and entered in the all aged competition.
In 1971 Manly-Milan was promoted to Amateur League Div 3 and since there was a team in the competition already with the name of Manly, the committee, Joe Attanasio, Vince Calacoci, Jogn Dounis and Sam Zavaglia decided to change the name to BROOKVALE SOCCER CLUB.
One of the most successful teams in the Manly Warringah Competition is the Brookvale Men’s Premier League Team. Previous coach until 2004 Rocky Carlino and present Coach Vince Santarosa have won Seven Premier League Titles.
